Calcium Sulphate Raised Floor Specifications

When choosing raised floor, it's crucial for you to consider the specifications as they represent the performance of a typical installation. While Raised Access Floor Panel criteria, such as concentrated load, are often used to specify floor systems, this test isn't an accurate representation of an actual installation. It's performed with panel testing blocks, not actual understructure. Therefore, it's important to take into account all factors that may affect the performance of the Raised Access Floor System

Raised Access Floor design load is tested using CISCA Concentrated Load test method on actual understructure instead of steel blocks. The design load is determined by taking the lesser value of the ultimate load divided by two or the point at which permanent damage occurs (yield point).
The Raised Access Floor safety factor is the multiple of Design load to the Ultimate Load. International standards and Dawn recommend' a minimum of 2.
